Sony Ericsson presents its new range of Walkman music mobile phones

Sony Ericsson presents its new range of Walkman music mobile phones

Sony Ericsson proudly presents its new range of Walkman music mobile phones - W800i, W900i, W550i, W300, W950 and W810.

These are primarily mobile phones; yet a major part for their widespread appeal derives from their music capabilities.

Aside from their playback capabilities, these music phones from Sony Ericsson have the intuitive Disc2Phone® PC software, which allows easy and fast uploads of music, and are Bluetooth-enabled, giving their users the flexibility to share their favourite music - two significant features that explain the growing popularity of the Sony Ericsson Walkman phones.

New chief for Ericsson Malaysia

Telecommunications equipment provider Ericsson has appointed Jan Signell as head of its Malaysian and South East Asian operations effective June 1.

He will take on the role of Ericsson South East Asia president and Ericsson Malaysia country manager, succeeding Kristian Tear, who will assume a new position within Ericsson.

Presently based in Stockholm, Signell brings with him 20 years of experience from various positions within Ericsson.

“It is certainly a good time to be back here again, especially when there are so many exciting developments in the region," Signell said.

He said that one of his focus areas would be to help operators profitably tap into the low-ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) segments, in recognition of the fact that South East Asia comprises several high-growth countries characterised by large populations with a growing youth segment and a high proportion of low-income users,

Close-up examination of the Sony Ericsson K750i

Sony Ericsson K750i

OK. Put on your microscopes, telescopes, what ever goes. Check out this cool review by Infosyncworld and then order the K750 from Phones2uDirect. Mind you, this is one of the only sites that mentions the weight of the Sony Ericsson K750i which is 99 (g) grams.

| In many ways the Sony Ericsson K750i also improves on features from previous Sony Ericsson models such as the T630 and the K700i. Being both slim and light, weighing in at a mere 99 g and measuring 100 x 46 x 20.5 mm, the K750i doesn't reveal its heavy feature set at first glance. When turned on, however, the relatively small 1.8", 262K colour screen strikes one as
both bright and clear as well as unusually sharp due to its resolution of 176 x 220 pixels - more typical of smartphones than ordinary handsets. |
